Minimal Data Philosophy

We collect only what is necessary to operate and improve the platform. We do not sell your data, use advertising trackers, or deploy remarketing pixels. Analytics cookies only load after you give explicit consent.

What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device — computer, tablet, or mobile phone — when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently, improve the user experience, and provide information to the site's owners.

Cookies do not typically contain information that personally identifies you, but personal information we store about you may be linked to information stored in or obtained from cookies. Cookies set by the website owner (Master NetFlow Inc.) are called first-party cookies. Cookies set by parties other than the website owner are called third-party cookies.

In addition to cookies, we may use similar technologies such as web beacons, pixel tags, local storage, and session storage. This policy refers collectively to all such technologies as "cookies" unless otherwise stated.

Cookies are not viruses or malware. They cannot access other information on your device or execute programs. Their sole purpose is to store small pieces of information between your visits.

How We Use Cookies

Master NetFlow uses cookies for several important purposes. We use them to ensure our platform functions correctly, to understand how visitors interact with our website (with consent), and to remember your preferences across sessions.

Specifically, we use cookies to:

  • Keep you signed in securely during your session
  • Remember your language and display preferences
  • Protect against cross-site request forgery (CSRF)
  • Understand which pages are visited and how the site is used (with consent)
  • Measure the performance and reliability of our platform
  • Prevent fraud and enforce our security policies
6

Third-Party Cookies

Some cookies on our website are set by third-party services. We do not control these cookies and they are governed by the respective third party's privacy policy. We only work with third parties whose data practices meet our security and privacy standards.

  • Cloudflare Turnstile Bot detection & security verification

Used on forms to distinguish legitimate users from automated bots without tracking personal data. This is an essential service with a legitimate interest basis. Privacy Policy ↗

  • Google Analytics Anonymous usage analytics (consent-gated)

Helps us understand aggregate visitor behaviour — pages visited, session duration, and referral sources. No personally identifiable information is collected. Only loads after consent. Privacy Policy ↗

  • Google Fonts Typography delivery

Fonts are loaded from Google's CDN. Google may collect limited request data (IP address, browser) in accordance with their privacy policy. Privacy Policy ↗

We do not use advertising cookies, remarketing pixels, or any technology that tracks you across other websites for marketing purposes. This is a deliberate, permanent policy decision.

Managing Cookies

You have the right to decide whether to accept or reject optional cookies. You can exercise your preferences in two ways:

1. Cookie Settings (recommended): Click the button on this page or in the site footer at any time. This opens our preference panel where you can toggle analytics and functional cookies independently.

2. Browser settings: You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Note that blocking essential cookies will affect platform functionality and you may not be able to sign in.

  • Google Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
  • Mozilla Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
  • Apple Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data
  • Microsoft Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Cookies and site data
  • Opera: Settings → Advanced → Privacy & security → Site settings → Cookies

You can also opt out of Google Analytics across all websites by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Deleting cookies from your browser does not prevent new cookies from being set on your next visit. To prevent specific cookies, use your browser's block setting or our Cookie Settings panel.

8

Withdrawing Consent

You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

To withdraw consent for optional cookies:

1

Click in the footer or sidebar

The preference panel will open showing your current settings.

2

Toggle off Analytics and/or Functional cookies

Untick the relevant options in the panel.

3

Click "Save Preferences"

Your choice takes effect immediately. Google Analytics will be disabled for your current session and all subsequent visits until you change your preference again.

Withdrawing consent does not delete cookies already set during a previous consented session. To remove those, use your browser's cookie deletion function after changing your preferences here.

9

Do Not Track

Some browsers include a "Do Not Track" (DNT) feature that signals to websites that you do not want your online behaviour tracked. There is currently no universally agreed technical standard for how websites should respond to DNT signals.

At this time, Master NetFlow does not alter its data collection practices in response to DNT browser signals. We will revisit this position as industry standards evolve. In the meantime, you can manage your preferences directly through the panel described in Section 7.

10

Cookie Retention

Cookies are either session cookies or persistent cookies. Session cookies are temporary and deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain on your device for a set period defined in the cookie itself.

We only retain cookie data for as long as is necessary for the stated purpose. Essential session cookies expire when you close your browser. Functional and analytics cookies are retained for a maximum of 2 years, after which they are automatically deleted and — if applicable — re-set on your next visit if consent is still active.

You may delete cookies from your device at any time through your browser settings or by withdrawing consent as described in Section 8.

11

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have specific rights regarding cookies and associated personal data:

  • Right to be informed about how cookies are used (this policy)
  • Right to withdraw consent for optional cookies at any time — see Section 8
  • Right to access personal data we hold associated with your account
  • Right to request deletion of your data (subject to legal obligations)

Canadian residents (PIPEDA): You have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to challenge its accuracy. Requests can be directed to privacy@masternetflow.com.

EU/EEA residents (GDPR): You have the additional rights to data portability and to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Our legal basis for analytics is consent (Article 6(1)(a)); we do not use cookies for targeted advertising. You can withdraw consent at any time as described in Section 8.

Policy Updates

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use, changes to applicable law, or for other operational or regulatory reasons. When we make material changes we will update the "Last Updated" date shown at the top of this page — not a dynamic date that changes daily.

We encourage you to review this policy periodically to stay informed. Previous versions are available upon request by contacting privacy@masternetflow.com.
